The year 2022 is over and we look back with pleasure on a successful time. We find ourselves reflecting on the past year with our employees, customers and partners. It’s been quite a year for us all! We like to throw back on the past year and remember some of the happenings.
In spring, it was finally time again, the Seatrade Cruise Global took place in Miami. After a break of two years due to the pandemic, it finally took place again. Thousands of cruise industry professionals were expected to attend. The Seatrade Cruise Global 2022 program highlighted new trends, interactive technologies and offers optimized B2B networking opportunities. It was a great success for Getslash! Our booth shone in a new shine and we were very motivated to take off. With a wide variety of video presentations, demo systems and a motivated team, the show was a great success!
In August, we were finally celebrating Getslash summer party again. Due to Corona, we could only meet with the colleagues without our family, clients and partners. Nonetheless, we spent a funny evening true to the motto: “Spanish Fiesta”. Our office was decorated with Spanish colors and accessories, and the Mediterranean buffet was the cherry on the top. We ended the day together in our outdoor area at the idyllic pond, with Spanish drinks and great music – also we had many interesting conversations, a relaxed atmosphere, and enjoyed the company of each other.
As an additional highlight in August, Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) newest ship ‘Norwegian Prima’ was launched as the first of six ships in the brand’s Prima Class. Among other Getslash products, the new Mobile Crew iTV has been successfully put into operation as an industry first innovation.
In autumn, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection went live its first ship, Evrima. We are proud to be represented with our entire Getslash guest experience product portfolio.
As the next major brand, Saga Cruises is relying on Getslash’s statistics and reporting module. Going forward, Saga Cruises will be able to capture valuable guest insights and make even better-informed decisions when it comes to their guest experience.
Another of Getslash’s Cruise industry competence lies within convergence services. For example, Azamara and Viking Cruises trust Getslash with IT consulting, network architecture and operation.
At the end of the year, we invited to an internal Christmas party in Oelde, Germany. After a good monthly meeting and the famous ‘Getslash waffle baking’, we moved the event to the neighboring bowling center. We enjoyed the evening with a delicious burger buffet, a game of bowling, good music and lots of fun.
